New Aggie & Ben story

Good Dog, Aggie is the follow-up to Aggie and Ben: three stories by Lori Ries. This time Ben would like to train Aggie, but there's a problem. Aggie doesn't mind...ever. Ben and Aggie are great characters and the short chapters make this a good book for beginning readers, as well as a good read-aloud for young children.

Pick of the Week: Ella Bella Ballerina and Cinderella

Ella Bella just loves Madame Rosa's ballet class in the old theater. When one day Ella Bella loses one of her ballet slippers, Madame Rosa lends her a new pair. Madame Rosa tells Ella Bella that she reminds her of the story of Cinderella, who also lost a shoe, and tells the class the fairytale. After ballet class, Ella Bella lingers at the old theater and opens the lid of Madame Rosa's box. As the box begins to play music from the Cinderella ballet, magic and the story of Cinderella comes to life in the old theater!
